柯尔律治诗歌的艺术品质

The Artistic Characters of Coleridge's Poetry

英国前浪漫主义诗人柯尔律治长期以来没有得到中国学界的重视,而从其诗歌所创造的想象性艺术空间、其诗中所展示的心理性意象及其诗歌所展示的悲剧性精神来说,他在英国诗歌与世界诗歌史上应有一流的地位。本文从其诗歌艺术品质构成的三个方面发表了自己的看法,认为重新研究柯尔律治是有其文学史意义的。本文是本次“柯尔律治诗歌研究”专栏的开篇。

Coleridge, the English Romantic poet, hasn't acquired fair attention by the Chinese literary field for a long time. While taking his capacity of imagination, the psychological images he creates, as well as the spirit of tragedy in his poetry into consideration, he should have been regarded as the first-class poet in the English poetry history, even in the worldwide poetry history at large. This essay from the above-mentioned three aspects of his artistic characters, brings about its own opinions on the poet and his works, and furthermore concludes thatit's of literally historic importance to explore Coleridge from new perspectives. This article is the outset of the specialized column : the Studies in Coleridge's Works.
