摘要
研究采用问卷的形式,对来自大型厂矿企业的287名专业技术人员使用学习策略的情况,以及他们现在的英语水平与他们的个人现状、学习动机与学习策略使用的关系进行了调查。研究结果表明,一些个人因素、目的、观念与策略使用之间存在着显著相关关系;不同的学习者在使用某些学习策略时,呈现出显著差异;专业技术人员现在的英语水平与学习策略无太大关系。研究结果为今后提高在岗专业技术人员的策略意识,增强他们的学习动机,对他们进行英语策略融合式培训以及帮助他们树立生命全程学习观念,提供了一定的参考与借鉴。
This study is an investigation of professional technicians'use of learning strategies in China. A questionnaire was designed and quantitative data are used to obtain an overall picture of the relationship between strategy use and personal,subjective and objective factors.The present study suggests that a specific English training centre be established and qualified teachers,proficient in English and familiar with learning strategies, be guaranteed. It is also suggested that a regular training course be carried out to give strategies-based instruction to professional technicians and measures be taken to help them form a life-span learning outlook.
