Selected Modem Chinese Prose Writings translated by Zhang Peiji, is a high qualified translation text book, which almost includes all the famous writers' essays since May Fourth Movement. The translator tries to make the target language natural and easy at the essential level, and also has the' textual attitude' to achieve the excellent reproduction of the source language information and style at the high level. This article would summarize the translator's translation characteristics and analysis the translator's way to reproduce the information and style from four cases--target title,word choice,sentence structure and textural attitude.
