Philosophical Meditation on “Zero and One”

“零”和“一”是一个内涵极为丰富的哲学问题。“零”和“一”互为中介的转化过程引发了基础科学革命和信息革命,也为人的思维方式产生了一次革命性的变化,这就是互为中介的思维方式。研究和探索中介现象及转化规律对探索自然现象及规律,把握社会现象及规律极为重要,关键是把握互为中介的转化机制、特点和规律。现在,把复杂问题简单化为零和一的二进制方法已经解决了,但如何解决复杂化问题是需要自然科学与社会科学结盟共同探索的一个重大问题。

Zero and One' is a philosophical concept of profound content. The reciprocal transformation of them with one being the medium of the other triggers the revolution of basic science and information, as well as a revolutionary alteration in the mode of thinking, namely, a mode of thinking applying reciprocal medium. Research and investigation into the phenomenon of medium and the law of its transformation is of great significance to explore nature and natural laws as well as society and its laws. The key herein is to command the mechanism, characteristics, and law of those of reciprocal medium. So far a binary system that simplifies complicated issues as Zero and One is already available, but more complicated issues demand the investigation of natural science and social science as allies.
