本文对20世纪80年代以来中国大陆学术界对中国近代城市史理论研究的重点、热点和难点进行了较为全面的评述和分析。本文认为经过众多学者的努力,已经初步形成了具有中国特色的中国近代城市史理论框架和研究方法。

The paper tries to present a comprehensive review and analysis of the issues of significance, of general interest, and of difficulty in the theoretical studies on the modern city history of China among the mainland academic circles. The author holds the view that the theoretical frame and research method of Chinese characteristics on the modern city history of China has taken shape through the efforts of numerous scholars.
