摘要
原型批评不是在意识的表层工作 ,即把特定的历史作品与特定的社会历史做直线性的联系 ,而是去挖掘作品中潜在的、人们意识不到的又反复出现的东西。《雷雨》除具有高度的现实性、艺术性外 ,还有不易为人们觉察的原型主题、原型意象、原型结构 ,并在比较视野中构成了具有深厚历史纵深感和人文主义关怀的原型世界 ,因而被不同时代、不同国家的人所接受 ,具有了世界性。
The prototypical criticism does not work at the surface layer consciousness, which connects a given historic work with the history of given society. But it digs out that which is beyond readers consciousness and repeatedly occurs. There exists in Thunderstorm a prototypical theme which is not easily sensed, a prototypical image, a prototypical structure, and a prototypical world formed in a comparative field of vision which has a sense of historical depth and humanistic solicitude. Therefore it has been well accepted by people of different countries and different times. Thus its cosmopolitan and permanent significance.
