高等学校继续教育工作刍议

继续教育属于终生教育的范畴 ,具有持续性 ,阶段性 ,实效性 ,多样性和灵活性的特点。作为提高全民整体素质的重要手段已为世界各国所认同。高等学校是继续教育工作的基地 ,肩负着双重任务。本文结合天津外国语学院继续教育工作的做法 ,对高等学校继续教育工作的内涵、性质、特点、原则等问题进行了分析 ,就继续教育工作中存在的问题提出几点看法。

With the characteristics of continuity, effectivity, diversity and flexibility, continuing education is a kind of life-long education. It is ackonwledged in the world as an important means of enhancing people's cultural quality. The institutions of higher learning are the basis of continuing education, so they have double tasks. Discussing the work on continuing education of Tianjin Foreign Studies University, this paper analyses its significance, characteristics and principles, and shows some opinions on the problems in continuing education.
