思想政治工作的工作对象是人的思想 ,特别是人的政治思想。我们是社会主义国家 ,人民是国家的主人 ,思想政治工作是解决人民内部矛盾的 ,理所当然应当发扬民主。这是做好新时期思想政治工作的关键。本文论述了思想政治工作领域民主的含义以及如何发扬民主的问题。同时 ,阐释了思想政治工作必须坚持群众路线的民主原则 ,坚持以人为本的民主作风 ,坚持科学的民主方法。

The object of ideological and political work is the thought of people,especially their political thoughts.Under our socialist system,the people are the masters of the country,so we must develop democracy when we undertake ideological politics and approaches to the development of democracy, and persist in democratic principle of the mass line,in the democratic style of work (taking people the most important),and in scientific and democratic methods.
