委婉语的语用分析

本文试以语用研究的一些基本理论来分析委婉语 (主要是交际策略委婉语 ) ,探讨委婉语与语用原则之间的关系 :委婉语违背合作原则各准则而产生 ,其选择及理解都依赖于语境 ,并遵循礼貌原则、间接言语行为理论和面子论。

Euphemism is a common phenomenon in languages.Its use largely depends on the context and has a great effect on daily communication. This paper analyzes euphemisms with the basic theories of pragmatics,showing the relationship between euphemism and pragmatics:Though violating the cooperative principle,it is closely related to the politeness principle,indirect speech act theory and face theory.
