This article deals with the phases and tendency of the development of modern educational technology and the influ-once it exercises on educational ideas,goals ,activities, curricula and management. This artical analyses the advantages and disadvan-tages of the modern educational technology, pointing out that with the improvement of the quality of both the teachers and stu-dents, a true conbination between scientific and humane values in higher education will be realized and that the negative effects of modern education will be reduced effectively in the effort to achieve better results in educational reform.
