试论当今大学英语课堂教学中的非语言交际

Nonverbal Communication in ForeignLanguage Teaching

非语言交际是人类社会交际的重要手段之一。在外语教学中它应该占有相当重要的地位。然而，当今大学外语教学中，它还远没有受到应有的重视。非语言交际的重要性，尤其是在外语教学活动中运用好非语言交际的重要性、必要性十分显见；因而必须在课堂教学中培养学生非语言交际能力。

Nonverbal communication has a great importance in the human communication. Much attention should be attached to its functions in foreign language teaching. This paper examines briefly the many uses and functions of this form of communication, especially its importance and necessity in the classroom teaching. In the end, the paper focuses on the strategies of developing the students' ability of nonverbal communication.
