At the beginning of 20th Century, there was once craze for going to study in Japan among Chinese, which was the result of many factors . Rescuing the race crisis was the basic reason. The other important reasons are Qing Dynasty's government's policies of encouraging studying in Japan and the attitude of Japanese government and people.
