介绍了上钢五厂在企业转换经营机制过程中，为适应生产经营管理决策向以提高经济效益为中心这一目标的变化，坚持走节能求发展、节能求效益的道路的经验。依靠企业发展的投入，实现节能技术进步的经验，尤其值得借鉴。

This paper presents the experience of Shanghai iron and Steel Works No' 5 in following the road of making development and profits by saving energy to adapt to the change of production and management decision-making to the goal of taking increasement of economic results as core in the process of changing enterprise management mechanism. Especially the experience in realizing energy-saving technological progress by relying on the money earned from enterprise development is worth referring.
