International Relation Structure after the Iraq War: The U.S. Element

伊拉克战争确证了国际格局中美国因素自冷战结束以来发生的重大变化。从表面上说 ,美国因为“9·11事件”和反恐怖主义需要而战略内向收缩 ,但就更深层次而言 ,恰恰是二者促成了美国后冷战时代一种外向扩张型国际秩序观。

The Iraq War demonstrated some kind of dramatic change of the U.S. factors in international relation structure started with the ending of Cold War. A main conclusion from the authors' analysis in this article is that, contrary to many people′s expectations, the”9·11”attack as well as the rising importance of anti-terrorism is pushing the U.S. government pursuing an even more outside-oriented, aggressive positions on international order and domestic security, and foreign policy.
