信息化是世界各国发展经济、文化、科学、教育的共同选择。数据库系统特别是文献资 料的数字处理系统的广泛应用,大大地提高了科研和教学的知识储备与科技含量,从根本上改变了 传统文献资料检索耗时耗力的状况。中原地区有着浩瀚的传统文化和丰富的音乐文化资源,建立 中原传统音乐资料数据库已势在必行。

The informationalization is the outcome of mutual influences in the development of economy, culture, science and education in countries all over the world. At present,the widespread application of database system, especially the digital processing system for literature materials, has greatly enhanced the technology ingredient in the scientific research and teaching, which has fundamentally changed the time-consuming and effort-consuming condition in traditional resources searching. Since there are vast traditional music culture resources in the Central Plains of China,it is imperative to establish a music database for them.
