摘要
终身教育是本世纪七十年代开始流行的一种国际教育思潮，主张教育应当贯穿于人的一生，接受教育应当是一个人终生永不休止的事情。成人教育是我国教育的一个重要组成部分，由于其在促进社会进步、经济发展中的独特地位和作用，决定了在我国实现终身教育的根本途径是大力发展成人教育。
Lifelong education became an international educational trend in 1970's,with the idea that education should run through the whole life till death.Adult education,as an important part of Chinese education,fosters socaial development and plays an important role in economic development.It reveals that the basic means of realizing lifelong education in our country is to greatly develop adult education.
