摘要
21世纪初，成人高等教育作为整个教育体系中一个重要的组成部分面临着诸多挑战：WTO的时代冲击、终身教育体系的构建、就业形势严峻、高等教育大众化的发展趋向。针对这些挑战，尝试提出了若干条发展的策略：突出服务意识、加强成人高等教育的国际化进程、注重学历教育与非学历教育并举、积极用社区内的教育资源、采取外延式发展和内涵式发展并举的方针。
As a main constituent, adult higher education is con fr onted with many challenges, such as the effect of WTO, the construction of life -lo ng education system, severe employment status and so on. Faced with these challe nges,th e article puts forward some tactics which can make contributions to the developm e nt of adult higher education.
