On the Significance of Establishing Public Security Philosophy and the Fundamental Researching Contents

要克服治安学边缘性和交叉性等发展不成熟的缺陷,必须要诉求哲学,治安哲学的建立有利于学科专业槽的建立,有利于在治安学领域形成理性思考的氛围,最终有利于学科的发展和完善。治安哲学研究的基本内容包括治安本体论、认识论、方法论和价值论。

We can only resort to philosophy in order to overcome some immature defects in the development of public security as a frontier and overlapping discipline. The establishment of public security philosophy will help to build a specialized trough of this discipline, develop an atmosphere of rational reflection in the field of public security discipline, and finally to develop and perfect it. The fundamental researching contents of the public security philosophy shall include four aspects: public security's ontology, epistemology, methodology and theory of value.
