首先简要介绍了幽默，重点讨论了电子幽默的概念及现状，简单比较了电子幽默与其他书面幽默的不同特点，然后运用关联论，解释了几则汉语花园小径类电子幽默。作者认为，关联论不仅可以解释言语会话，也可以解释独自形式的花园小径类电子幽默。

After a brief introduction of the humor,the author discusses mainly the concept of an ehumor. Then she compares the differences and similarities between ehumors and other written humors. Through the analysis of several Chinese ehumors in terms of relevance theory, the author concludes that relevance theory can explain not only dialogical conversations, but also monological garden path ehumors.
