Preliminary Study on S&T Development Strategy and Policy in Korea

韩国与中国同为赶超型国家,它在几十年内取得巨大经济和科技成就的经验值得我们学习。对韩国在科技政策调整、国家创新能力提高、科技工作与产业发展结合及产业国际竞争力形成等方面的经验进行了初步研究,以为我国中长期科学技术规划的制定提供参考和借鉴。

Korea and China are both Catching-up countries. The experience of economic and S&T achievements in Korea is worth of learning. This paper analyzes how Korea adjusted its S&T policy, improved its innovation ability, promoted S&T efforts to serve the economic growth, and achieved international competitiveness in several industrial fields. Hopefully, this paper could provide references for our country to formulate a better national medium- and long-term S&T plan.
