Principles and methods of the geostress measurement in deep boreholes in situ are introduced, and the analysis of geostress field based on these measured data of geostress in different depth of the boreholes is briefly described. Results of geostress measurement and analysis of geostress field of the underground power house of a pumped storage plant are presented.
