In this paper, a selected scheme in bid for the design of Yangzhou University's Science and Technolgy garden is presented. It focuses mainly on two points, First, the analysis of how to grasp the base ground's environmental factors and characteristics in the construction conceiving process;Second, the inquiry of, proceeding from the internal practional function, how to creat a construction space enjoying not only reasonable functions but also individuality and the times' characteristics,
