This paper states that Vernucnlar house styles of the three Gorges area were gradually formed under the influence of variety forms under the influence of natural and ecomontic conditions and historical culture. It also analyses the space, features, styles and connotations of vernacular houses that were designed to suit local conditions or use locally available materials to build new houses.
