摘要
人造板工业是高效利用木材资源的重要产业,是实现林业可持续发展战略的重要手段。作者回顾了世界先进国家人造板工业发展动态,指出在入世后全球经济一体化新形势下,我国人造板工业要根据国家可持续发展战略的整体目标,认清自身优势,迎接未来挑战,更好地利用森林和木材可再生资源,以更低的成本向客户提供更好的产品和服务,为生态建设、生态安全、生态文明作出贡献。
Wood-based panels combine the economic and ecological benefits of the renewable wood resource with the tailored properties of a modern composite. After reviewing the present status and prospect of the wood based panel industry thoughout the world, the author suggests that in (response) to the economic globalization and China's entry into the WTO, the Chinese wood based panels industry should follow the sustainable development principle, better understand the forest, improve the management of operations, recycle more and pollute less, make better use of the forest resources so as to enhance its international competitiveness to supply customers better products and services at lower cost.
