摘要
尽管《牡丹亭》具有很大的思想与艺术价值 ,但它的缺陷也是明显的。结构松散 ,导致全剧篇幅过长 ,冲淡了戏剧的主题 ;杜宝的形象前后不一 ,存在断裂现象 ;在现实主义的故事情节的板块上 ,随意编构内容 ,淡化了“真实性”。当代评论界误解了《牡丹亭》的思想 ,该剧并没有歌颂青年男女的爱情 ,而是偏重于生理方面的情欲。
There are obvious defects in Tang Xianzu's Pavilion of Peony despite its considerable instructive and artistic value. As a result of the scattered structure, the drama is so prolix that the motif is weakened. The character of Du Bao looks incongruous and broken. The arbitrary plot results in diluting realistic narration. The contemporary critic has been misconstruing the ideology of Pavilion of Peony.The paper claims that the drama is not intended to sing an ode to love but to describe the human lust.
