国内外英语教学法流派特别是传统和交际教学法均有其优点和弊端。要想有效提高外语教学质量，加速外语人才培养，必须扬各流派之长，避各流派之短，兼收并蓄，创建具有中国特色的外语教学法体系。

This paper focuses on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of different schools in FLT. It is proposed that in order to improve the quality of FLT and accelerate the training of multilingual personel,we must maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages of different schools and endeavor to incorporate the advantages for the creation of FLT system with Chinese specialities.
