During the Spring and Autumn Periods,wars broke out here and there,and the flames of war raging.In the whirlpool of war,strong countries win or lose capriciously and weak countries don't know what is safety and danger.The writer of this thesis studied the history of this period in depth,analysed the reasons why those countries under the rule of the feudal princes thrived or declined and set forth the theory that the destiny of the state depended on whether it made its country rich and built up its military power.This thesis takes the princes' vying for supremacy during the Spring and Autumn Period as an example,detailedly expound that enriching its country is the basis of building up its military power,building up its military power is the principle of enriching one's country,and reform is the only route to betaken.The history is realistically significant and influential upon the modern building of our country.
