中国共产党的建设目标 ,是由党的性质和党的历史任务决定的 ,在不同历史时期有不同的内容。党的三代领导人毛泽东、邓小平、江泽民根据党的历史任务 ,提出了党在中国革命、建设、改革三时期的建设目标 ,并创造了实现这些目标的不同模式。这些不同历史时期的目标、模式 ,不仅解决了在中国建立一个什么党 ,如何建党和实现党的领导的问题 ,而且 ,不断根据新的实践创造新的理论 ,丰富和发展马克思主义党的建设理论。

CPC's construction objective lies with its nature and historic task, each historic stage having different contents, based on its historic task. CPC's leaders of three generations - Mao Ze dong, Deng Xiao ping and Jiang Ze min, put forward CPC's construction objectives and patterns for realizing them during different stages of revolution, construction and reform. These objectives and patterns offer solutions to what part China is trying to set up and how to set it up and realize its leadership. Moreover, they have enriched and developed Marxist Party's construction theory, continuously creating new theories according to new practice. Marxist Party's construction theory and time features are perfectly combined and unified with CPC's construction.
