A Comment on Class Practice in Teaching of a Bridge-A Course Book of Intermediate Practical Chinese

课堂教学以"练"为中心,"练"字贯穿于课堂教学的始终。教师有选择、有重点地讲练,培养学生自学的习惯、能力,真正做到"以学为主"。老师多为学生创造、提供"听"的环境,老师要跟学生多说话(交流思想、感情、学习经验、体会等),以正常的语速、生活化的语言来引导、带动学生进行课堂实践活动。

Class teaching should focus on 'Practice' and 'Practice' goes through the whole class. The teacher should selectively and proportionately lecture and conduct practice activities in order to develop students' habit and ability of selfstudy, so as to reach ' with learning as center'.The teacher should produce and provide situations for the sake of students' listening comprehension and talk fairly much with students( exchange of ideas, feelings, learning experiences and understandings etc.). The teacher should conduct his talk at the normal speed and with language frequently used in daily life in order to guide and motivate the students to carry out the class practice activities.
