再论洋务派的变局观

The Further Study on the Transformation View of the Westernization School

在新的历史条件下,洋务派对新的世界格局、世界格局变动的原因、中国在世界格局中的地位、中国落后的原因进行了考察,认识到世界格局正经历巨变,古老的中国面临着强敌。洋务派在此基础上提出自强观,学习西方。他们的变局观具有新的特点,但也存在着严重的局限性。

In the new historical condition,the westernization school inspected problems such as the new pattern of the world,the cause of change of the world pattern,the position of China in the world and the reason why China was backward.They realized that the world pattern undergone fundamental changes and the ancient China faced the powerful enemy.On the base of this,they put forward the view of self-reliance and learned the west. Their transformation view possessed new feature.But it had the serious limitation as well.
