With the development of computer technology,the software of GIS plays a more and more important role in many projects.Based on MapInfo and ArcGIS,which are the most popular presently,data collection,process,analysis and output of map were successfully achieved in the project of subaqueous DEM of YangKou port in JniagSu province.From above research, reliable scientific substances are applied in the construction of YangKou port.
