The main purpose of Lao She's literature creation is to explore and select a new culture model.In exploring the theme of civil life,in depicting the ways of the world,and in portraying the citizens of their psychologiacl state,Lao She,with a sober and rational head, criticizes the conventional culture in deep grief and expresses his cultural ideal embodied in the character QAN Mo-yin in the novel Four Generations Living Together.
