中国旅游教育在迈向世界旅游强国的进程中崛起,其发展跨入了竞争与整合发展的新阶段,但目前能力仍然滞后于旅游人才需求的增长。为此,要编制全国性旅游教育发展规划,培育一批具有世界影响的旅游教育品牌学校,建构具有特色的"旅游人才教育高地",形成与旅游强国地位相适应的旅游教育体系。广西要抓住机遇,努力规避旅游高等教育发展的分散化趋势,集中建设好桂林旅游学院,为建构适应旅游强国地位的旅游教育体系做出贡献。

China's tourism education is now growing up in the course of going to be one of the great international tourism countries, which is now being a new phase of competing and integrating development. But the ability of China's tourism education now still lags behind the increasing of the demand of the tourism persons with ability. China's tourism education should walk out from the predicament of being demanded by the market. Therefore we have to form a system to fit the position of a great tourism country by compiling the nationwide development programming of tourism education, cultivating passel brand of tourism education institute with worldwide infection,and make a tourism specialty criterion to expedite the construction of the tourism teacher's group for building some characteristic 'highland of tourism education'. Guangxi has to fist the chance of nationwide tourism education competing and integrating, keep the good trend of scale rising, and work hard at evading the separate development of tourism higher education. We should focus our work center to build up the Guilin Tourism College, and try our best to make a tour education system which fits for the great international tourism country.
