Visualization Technique and Its Application in Mining Industry

可视化技术在自然科学领域的各个方面都有广阔的应用前景,在矿业中的应用更是方兴未艾。全文主要论述了可视化技术的基本原理及其数据流模型,介绍了可视化的两种主要成像方法———面绘制法和体绘制法,并对两种方法进行了分析和对比,最后对可视化技术在矿业中的应用进行了展望。

Visualization technique has broad application prospects in various field of natural science, its application in mine industry is just unfolding. In this paper, the basic fundamentals and the data flow model of visualization process are described, and two main imaging methods of visualization, i.e. surface rendering and volume rendering, are introduced and compared. Finally, the application prospects of visualization technique in mining industry are discussed.
