软交换作为话音网向数据网融合的下一代网络(NGN)的主要技术,正日益受到业界的广泛重视。在软交换涉及的众多技术中本文主要对软交换的原理、体系结构以及所采用的通信协议等关键技术进行了介绍。在上述介绍的基础上,本文详述了软交换在国内外的研究情况并对软交换的前景进行了分析。

Sofiswitch is the key technology of NGN to interconnect voice network with digital network,which is getting more an more attentions in the field.Out of technologies related to the softswitch, the paper introduces some key technologies,including softswitching principle,system architecture and communication protocols adopted out of the technologies related to the softswitch.The paper expatiates research conditions of softswitch at home and abroad and analyzes the development trend of the softswitch based on the conditions above mentioned.
