The Religious Dress in the Period of Wei- Jin and Northern & Southern Dynasties

魏晋南北朝时期,宗教服饰开始出现,并在中外文化的交流变化中,形成了一些与中国传统服饰相适应的特点。僧衣的名称较多,形制也逐步中国化。道服则处于较为原始的状态。

The religious dress was appeared in the period of Wei- Jin and Northern & Southern Dynasties and formed some characteristics suited the tradition of the Chinese dress in the cultural exchange between China and abroad. The dress of Buddhist monk was multiple and its pattern was gradually appropriate for the Chinese dress, however the dress of Taoist priest was staid in primeval state.
