摘要
本文从语法和世界及一般学习之关系入手,从文献综述和实验两个纬度考察了英语学习者语法敏感性和阅读理解水平之间的关系。研究表明,语法敏感性和阅读理解水平之间存在正相关的关系,以此为依据,讨论了语法对外语学习的重要作用。文章最后讨论了此研究结果对我国大学英语教学的启示。
This paper explores the role of English learners' grammatical sensitivity in their reading comprehension. The author first studies the relationship between grammar and the world, grammar and language learning in general from the point of view of philosophy. Based on this, the author has come up with a positive correlation between English grammatical sensitivity and reading comprehension in EFL context from the perspectives of literature review and experiment. The paper ends with a discussion about the implications of the present research for college English teaching in China.
