基于垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSEL)的高速光模块在现代光通信系统中的应用己越来越广泛。本文在简单介绍光收发模块和VCSEL器件的基础上,着重讨论了GBIC模块的总体设计和主要技术关键。

The applications of VCSEL-based high-speed modules in the modern optical communication system are more and more practical. In this paper, the authors introduced VCSELs and the optical transceiver modules, and discussed the framework design of GBIC module and its key technique.
