《豳风·七月》“采蘩”考辩

On “Wormwood Picking” in “BINFENG July”

《豳风·七月》一诗有许多地方尚待进一步研究,“春日迟迟,采蘩祁祁。女心伤悲,殆及公子同 归。”即为其一。故从文化学角度,依据《礼记·月令》、《大戴礼记·夏小正》、《左传》等典籍的相关记载, 以为“公子”当解为“豳公”;“女”即为后妃夫人一类人物,“采蘩”与高禖之祭有密切关系,遂为“春日 迟迟”四句提供新的理解途径。

In “BINFENG July”,there remain many things to be studied,e.g. “Slowly the spring-sun rises,Hurriedly wormwood pickers go out,Girl is worried,she may be forced to be the wife of Gongzi (son of a high official).”Based on some relate records of “LIJI YUELING”,“DADAI XIAXIAOZHENG” and “ZUOZHUAN”,this essay thinks that Gongzi should be “Bin Gong”(high official of Bin District),while “girl” should be concubine and the like,wormwood picking has much to do with mourning of Gaomou.This new explanation illustrates the four sentences of poem above.
