从生产能力、装置规模、需求量、进出口量及价格等方面分析了国内外甲醇市场的概况。结果表明,目前国外甲醇生产能力已超过40 Mt/a,年需求量在30 Mt/a以上,发展特点是装置向廉价天然气产地转移和装置趋于大型化。国内甲醇生产能力已达6 Mt/a,2003年产量为3 Mt,表观消费量为4.44 Mt,进口量占需求量的30%,产能和消费量分别以24.55%和15.6%的速率增长。

General situation of methanol market at home & abroad was analyzed from aspects of productive capacity, plant scale, demand, import & export quantity and price etc. The result indicates that at present the foreign productive capacity of methanol has exceeded already 40 Mt/a, its demand is above the 30 Mt/a, the developing characteristic is: Production base is removed to origin of cheap natural gas and plant being large-sized. Domestic productive capacity of methanol has reached to 6 Mt/a, in 2003 the annual productive capacity is 3 Mt, and its apparent consumption is 4.44 Mt/ a, so the import quantity occupies 30% of demand, the productive capacity and consumption are respectively increased by a rate of 24. 55% and 15.6%.
