By means of literature reviews and interviews with experts, the advantages of Shanghai in sports cooperation and the utilization of these advantages are elaborated; the current sports cooperation within the Changjiang Delta is summarized and the exact advantages of Shanghai within the sports circle are also analyzed. The author further carries discussions on the obstacles that may prohibit the utilization of these advantages for Shanghai and proposes countermeasures and suggestions that will help to promote current sports cooperation and development in this area.
