Quzhou is the first city to make 'eco-city' strategy in Zhejiang province which is leading in ecosystem Construction. Before the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2005, our periodical's Green China Action group had an interview with Quzhou's officials. According to them, the mountain area where the city lies is one of the places with the best eco-environment around our country and the example for state ecosystem construction. Moreover, Quzhou has the title of 'green cradle for Zhejiang'.
