摘要本文以韩礼德的系统功能语法为基础,从三大纯理功能中的语篇功能出发,对若干律师辩护词的主位进行了统计分析。在分析中,我们对韩礼德的理论及其他系统功能语言学家的观点进行了整合。通过分析,我们发现主位选择是说话者为了实现某种交流目的所做的有意义的选择,充分体现出律师辩护词注重客观性、逻辑性,尊重事实与法律,避免主观性、随意性的特点。 This paper, on the basis of the widely accepted Functional Grammar developed by Halliday, attempts to investigate and analyze themes in a lawyer’s defense documents. In our analysis, we also adopt theories developed by other functional grammar linguists rather than follow Halliday’s theory strictly. Through analysis, we find that themes in lawyer’s defense documents have their unique characteristics, which are closely related to their func- tions and purposes.
