Based on the introduction of WinSock controls, took the example of using RS-232 communication serial interface of HP 34401A multimeter to accomplish network measurement for multi-function sources, the design method of network measurement program under VB development environment is introduced in detail, and all interfaces and source codes were given in the paper.
