On innovation of physical education in China in the 21st century

2 1世纪 ,我国体育发展的根本任务就是创新 ,特别是体育体制创新 ,就是要突破传统体育的观念和模式 ,逐步实行体育 (PhysicalEducation)或学校体育、体娱 (PhysicalRecreation)或群众 (社会 )体育同运动竞技 (Sport)的分离 ,在重新定位的基础上 ,建设适应现代社会发展要求的运行新机制和管理新体制。

It is the ultimate tasks to make an innovation in the way of our physical education development in the 21st century and the innovation of physical education system is more urgent. This means to break through the traditional idea and mode of physical education, to separate the physical education and physical recreation from the sports gradually, and on the basis of re-orientation, to build new managing system fitting the developing demands of modern society.
