文章从历史上不同时期我党不断提高对科学技术重要性的认识 ,科学技术在先进生产力、先进文化、最广大人民的根本利益等三个方面的重大影响来阐述科学技术是“三个代表”的结合点。这对我党在新的历史时期进一步重视和发展科学技术 ,开展科技创新 ,更好地落实“三个代表”有重要的现实意义。

The Chinese Communist Party has been realizing the importance of science and technology in different period of the Party’s history, we can arrive at the conclusion that science and technology is the conjunction of Three Representatives from the important effects of science and technology on the progressive productivity, the advanced culture and the most extensive people’s interests, which is of practical signiticance to paying attention to developing science and technology, to launching technical innovation and to putting Three Representatives into effect.
