On the Natural and Historical Concept of Confucianism and Taoism Before Qin Dynasty

儒家以自然山水寓托人格的自然观和经世致用的历史观 ,是紧密结合社会实际的。道家顺应自然、虚静无为的自然观与历史观生发于老庄学说的思想核心。无论是把自然人格化 ,还是把人性自然化 ,都显示了儒、道学说的智慧。正是这两者的互补 ,构成了中华民族特有的自然观和历史观 ,成为中国特有的文化传统的重要组成部分。

The natural concept of personification and historical concept of social adiministration of Confucianism closely combined with the social practice. The natural and historical concepts of Taoism which complying with nature, peace and accomplishing nothing were the center thoughts of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi philosophy. No matter the personification of nature or the naturalization of personality, they displayed the wisdom of Confucian and Taoist. They complemented each other, and constituted the Chinese character of natural and historical concepts. It is the important part of Chinese culture tradition as well.
