摘要
中英两国都有着悠久的文化传统,流传在两国的谚语也都浩如烟海。由于谚语都有较强的民族性,因而各民族文化特点的不同导致两国谚语的差异。论文从地理、历史、宗教、文学等角度对两国的谚语进行比较。
Both English and Chinese are rich in proverbs,and proverbs are of strong national character.This thesis compares English proverbs and Chinese proverbs from the following aspects:history, religion,literature, etc.
