Constructing Models on the Process of Communication via Translation

从社会功能的角度看,翻译的本质是跨文化传播行为,由此为翻译学和传播学找到了交汇点。本文选择了有代表性的三种传播过程模式,结合翻译过程的具体特点,设计出三种翻译传播过程模式:线性模式,双向互动模式和社会心理系统模式,以期从传播学的角度深入探讨翻译传播过程的特点、规律和其所涉及的各种关系。

Translation is essentially an action of intercultural communication. It is on this point that translation studies and communication studies converge. The author designs three communication process models-linear model, hi-directional interactive model and systemic model by combining the framework of three representative communication process models with the concrete characteristics of translation process. Through this attempt, the author seeks to explore the characteristics, rules of the process of communication via translation and various relations it involves from the perspective of communication studies.
