In view of cognitive linguistics, there are deviations of understanding concepts, which inevitably cause miscommunications between message sender and receiver. In English learning, it is commonly seen that misunderstandings occur because of the deviations of understanding English concepts and metaphors. Only when this has been realized can the accuracy of understanding be attained.
